"The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God." (Psalm 14:2, NLT)

Good blessings and honor to my brothers and sisters in Christ, our Anointed One. How my heart delights to call you family. Together bound in the oneness of our glorious King and Savior, Christ Jesus.

It is through His death and resurrection, giving us mercy and forgiveness of our sins, vail torn in half to allows us to enter into the Heavenly throne of God, who we graciously call our Heavenly Father. Through the sacrificial love of Christ, we have been grafted into the Kingdom of God...to be children of God.

Seeking God’s Heart is the heart of how Jesus instructed us to love God and commune with the Father, son, and Holy Spirit. Today, I am drawn even more to experience Christ’s unfailing love in the aloneness of pain and in the joy of God’s presence. The fellowship of suffering brings death to my desires and resurrects His desires deep in my thirsty soul.

The journey is not always smooth and fun, but sometimes rough and hard. All good and bad is a necessary tutor for me to better know my heavenly Father’s heart.

Since becoming a parent of a child, born with a heart condition, and then a grandparent five years ago, God’s love has overwhelmed me in the life of these precious little ones.

I should not be surprised, for such is the Kingdom of God. Their pure hearts point me to the pure heart of God.

Their trusting minds remind me to embrace a childlike faith. Their humble requests revive my bold prayers, that lie dormant under the doormat of my pride. Their genuine hugs ooze with the compassion and comfort of Christ.

Their laughs and funny words remind me to laugh at myself, exposing my intense habits and fears that cause me to take myself way too seriously. As I learn about God, parenting and grand parenting is an honor to point my life to God. Seeking God’s heart is found in other pure and humble hearts who are abandoned to Him.

“The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged” (Psalm 69:32).

Another defining life event that has touched my life is the death of my son. To feel such pains was so deep pierching upon one's soul. It is through the heart of God, mercy, calmness, grace, and understanding of a father's love is deeply rooted to God's own heart to love us in ways incomprehensible measures. For I was reminded of the lost of our Heavenly Father's own son. Hanging on the cross, not for the wrongdoings on His part, but to bare our sins. It is through this pain, I found the true measure of God's love to you and I.

Now that my son is in heaven, I rarely ponder the 20%, but celebrate the 80% of his influence that God used to mold me to become more like Jesus. I miss Braeden. The hole in my heart is only filled by the love of the Holy Spirit. I still grieve from time to time, shed tears, and long for him to be near. So in my loss, by God’s grace, I draw near to His heart to receive holy comfort for my soul. It is this hole, sealed in the presence of the Holy Spirit, moving me to long to be closer to Jesus.

It is through this pain, that brought forth new life upon my heart. Conditioning me to surrender deeply to the Lord and let Him guide every step in my life. It is through this trust bestowed in Christ, moving me to simply do what the Lord instruct. It is this love, through God granted me Judy to apply the love flowing through my heart.

Maybe like me, a health issue has pursued you over the past. I don’t like not being in control and being unsure of my physical future—though I know in my mind no one gets out alive! In weak moments, I have a pity party—only I attend. I am learning to avoid “feeling sorry for myself” and invite God to work in me and through me. I remind myself to take one day at a time and to be grateful in the moment—for today, knowing I have no promise of tomorrow.

It is through these trials we cry out. Cry out like David, a man after God's own heart, to surrender and seek God. It is through these trials we call upon the name of Jesus, to be lifted into the heart of God.

It is through seeking the heart of God, I came to meet each and everyone of you. To love and to praise God on your love and generosity towards one another. May your love continue to flow upon one another, to the poor and brokenhearted within your communities. May you seek with great passion to true and complete surrender, seeking God's own heart.

I write you these things, to encourage and share the testimonies upon my heart on what the Lord can do, when we surrender, seek, and apply His teachings in our lives. When we take self-control of our thoughts and strip them away on feeding our flesh.

I long to seek and love the Lord while He can be found, and I want to be a faithful lover of people. It is this love I have for you all, as your love and generosity continues to grow in Christ. My heart belongs to Jesus, but a piece is given to you all. For you are family and who does not what to see their family grow successful is the glory of God?

So, seek the Lord’s heart often—as He loves your heart. Enjoy God’s pleasure!
