ACTS - Actions in Christ's Teachings
March 4, 2023
What a long and harsh week I faced. In reality, it has been a very challenging month. The assignment I am on, is not going the way I was brought in to do. Matter a fact, haven't even begin to start what I was meant to do.
What we planned to do, simply does not end up where we expect ourselves to be. It seems like everything is fighting against us or something else develops that we simply have to tackle it. Sound familiar? Can you relate to those situations?
When we walk in Christ, the enemy likes to find ways to bring discouragement, hardaches, and distractions to cause us to stumble. We cry out louder, asking for help and guidance - a blessing. We get so focused on our situations or our problems; we stop giving praise of simply being in God's presence. Instead, we start asking for blessings. Heck, sometimes we demand God to deliver us, bless us. We get so desperate, we place our wants, our needs higher, than simply asking God to be in our presence. Meanwhile the pressures becomes more vicious, causing us to get more discouraged, causing us to lose hope. Does this sound like you?
I got news for you, when we walk in a relationship with God, and build a relationship of being in His presence. Having Him in our mist and simply say, "Lord all I want is you" (Psalms 73:25). It is not the blessings I seek, but You! I surrender my feelings, my desires and my desperation to You. I simply want You," will definitely lift you higher than one can imagine.
Our focus is on Him, and a joy, a peace overcomes us. He is in our mist, and we witness His mighty hand battling for us. He lifts us up and carry us through the storm. He gives us confidence to stare at that "mountain"(Mark 11:23), before us to declare it to move. He gives us joy deep within, bubbling up with such praise, that we cannot resist to sing out to the Lord(Psalms 73:28). A love over flows us, that we dance in the mist of our challenges and situations we face (1 Peter 1:8, James 1:2-4).
We give thanks and declare victory as our Lord battles for us (1 Corinthians 15:57, Deuteronomy 20:4, Romans 8:31, Philippians 4:13, 2 Corinthians 2:14). We witness victory before His presence.
He is a loving Father, a good good Father (Isaiah 63:16). He protects! He provides! When we ask for His presence (Matthew 7:7-12); He bless us in comforting us when calling Him in our mist. He rejoices in our love, our honest crying out, moving His heart to act. This is a sacrificial love of Christ. To move us to the Father, allowing the Spirit to move every steps in our lives.
Yes, challenges, hardship and sickness will prevail in this evil world, until the return of our King, but when we place our minds and thoughts in Christ, we get to taste a piece of Heaven. We see the glory of God moving and working within and through us. So much, that we cannot stop talking about Jesus love.
Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance.
And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us (Romans 5:2-5 TPT)!
When we feel beaten, tired and frustrated; simply cry out to the Father. Pour your heart out. Be that innocent child looking for the help of their Father and watch what happen. You, will be amazed when in His presence you will be blessed, surprising you on things you never had to ask or even expected to ask. Our Lord knows what is better for us than we do.
So, my brothers and sisters, rejoice and call Jesus to be in Your presence! Let Him be in your mist and watch what happens when you love Him with your heart, soul and mind and towards one another. It is the love of God that brings new life, hope and victory.
My prayer to You:
O' Father! Our Heavenly Father we come to You today to give praise. To call upon You and welcome You upon our hearts. O' Lord, I come in the name of Jesus, to glorify and exult your Holy name! We long to be in Your presence. Be in the mist of us and give us Your daily bread. Set my heart on You! Examine and reveal my heart to You. For You are all I need. It is You I seek and ask for Your love to guide my every step. You call me Your child, so here I am asking my Father to hold me, I want You! For I will not fear nor fret, for You fight the battles I face, I will simply be quiet (Exodus 14:14), and praise thanksgivings. This I give thank and praise in the name of Jesus.
Amen!
