My Heart Sings

God, you are my God; I eagerly seek you. I thirst for you; my body faints for you in a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.

So I gaze on you in the sanctuary to see your strength and your glory. My lips will glorify you because your faithful love is better than life. So I will bless you as long as I live; at your name, I will lift up my hands.

You satisfy me as with rich food; my mouth will praise you with joyful lips. When I think of you as I lie on my bed, I meditate on you during the night watches because you are my helper; I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings. I follow close to you; your right hand holds on to me.

My heart sings with praises throughout the days! A song of jubilee that engulfs my soul! The sweetness of your presence surrounds me with great delight!

O' you are my King, my Righteousness! My shield and my strength! For Christ Jesus brought Victory to my soul! For the guidance of his love places a fire deep within to the majestic beauty of his Spirit. My soul dwells in such splendor of the Lord! Surrendering to the mightiness of his glory! O' how I have seemed and you have quenched my thirst in this dry, desolated land. I rejoice in the glory of the Lord!

You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas. You establish the mountains by your power; you are robed with strength. You silence the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the nations. Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy. You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty (Psalms 65:5‭-‬8‭, ‬11 CSB).

You have taken me to higher grounds, beyond my imagination! To a throne so grand and dear.

I've gazed upon your sanctuary and have found rest! A new praise, so beautiful and divine, has touched my soul in jubilee! O' how gracious and wonderful you are, my Lord! For what more can a man desire but the desire of the Lord!

Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God! Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name.” - Selah

Come and see the wonders of God; his acts for humanity are awe-inspiring. I will enter your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows that my lips promised and my mouth spoke during my distress.

Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth, and praise was on my tongue. Blessed be God! He has not turned away my prayer or turned his faithful love from me
